A grand celebration was organized on 1st of September 2025, to honour the teachers of our school on the occasion of Teacher's Day. The event, meticulously planned by the students, was a heartfelt tribute to the dedication and hard work of our educators. The program included a variety of performances showcasing the talents of the students.
The celebration began with the traditional Lighting of the Lamp ceremony. Rev. Father Principal Joseph Pathickal, Rev. Father Vice-Principal Cheriatt Jose, Ma’am Rama (Co-ordinator), Sir Bikash and Ma’am Shristi lit the ceremonial lamp to invoke blessings and formally inaugurate the event. This was followed by a graceful Prayer Dance performed by students of Classes 6,7 and 8 setting a serene and respectful tone for the day.
The stage came alive with a dynamic performance by the students of Class 8, who presented a vibrant dance routine. Their synchronized movements and energetic expressions filled the hall with joy. A resounding note of appreciation to our Rev. Father Principal whose words have not merely addressed but praised the students' efforts and expressed his gratitude to the teaching faculty for their unwavering commitment. Following this, the students of classes 8 and 9 presented a soul-stirring song, which was a tribute to the teachers' role in shaping students' lives. The choir's melodic voices resonated with the audience, creating a touching atmosphere.
A thought-provoking skit was then performed by students of high school. The skit, humorously yet poignantly depicted the loving bond of a student and a teacher, earning a thunderous applause from the teachers and students alike. The program concluded with a captivating Western Dance performance by the students of Class 10. Their well-choreographed routine and confident stage presence were a testament to their hard work and dedication.
The most anticipated and enjoyable part of the event was a game called "Guess the Teacher." A slideshow was prepared with childhood photos of various teachers, and students had to guess who was who. The auditorium erupted in laughter and excitement as everyone tried to identify their teachers from their adorable childhood pictures. It was a wonderful way to see a different, more personal side of our beloved educators and a true highlight of the celebration.
Then, the auditorium transformed for a lively round of “Antakshari”. Teams were formed with a mix of teachers and students, turning the traditional singing game into a spirited and friendly competition. The teachers’ and students’ teams battled it out, showcasing their knowledge of songs from different eras. The enthusiasm and teamwork on display were a perfect testament to the strong bond between our students and teachers.
The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Rev. Father Vice-Principal, who praised all the participants for their creativity and effort. The students also presented small tokens of appreciation to all the teachers, making the day truly special. The event was a resounding success, fostering a spirit of mutual respect and appreciation between students and teachers.
