Don Bosco School, Berhampore celebrated the 79th Independence day with great pride and utmost honour. The school was happily decorated with colours of freedom and prosperity. A short programme was organised by the students of class 9 for this auspicious day.
The programme began with the March Past and Hoisting of the National Flag followed by the National Anthem. A brief cultural programme took place with a patriotic song, Recitation in Bengali, Hindi and English and a patriotic dance representing the National Flower- Lotus, the National Animal – Tiger and the National Bird Peacock.
The Programme concluded with the vote of thanks by our vice- Principal Father Cheriatt Jose. In the end, our honourable Rector and Principal Father Joseph Pathickal enlightened our students and parents with his words of wisdom.
